Re: Hello from the colonies

Hi and welcome,

I would not be worried about not having been here, your loss
Any way I wonder if ten of us can say we have visited your neck of the world??
Look forward to seeing your pics, hoping to see something different to what we see here on the isle

Oh That Song!

"On a mountain in Virginia, stands a lonesome pine.

Just below is the cabin home of a little girl of mine.

Her name is June and very, very soon, she'll belong to me.

For I know she's waiting there for me, 'Neath that lone pine tree.

In the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia,

On the Trail of the Lonesome Pine.

In the pale moonshine, our hearts entwine,

Where she carved her name and I carved mine,

Oh June, like the mountains I'm blue.

Like the pine, I am lonesome for you.

In the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia,

On the Trail of the Lonesome Pine."

Never heard of it.

Re: Hello from the colonies

I think these will do for examples of the area here. A lonesome pine is first. Then a river, we have lots of rivers and streams. Then one that shows why they are named the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Hiya! As I am brand spanking new to this website (as of 2 minutes ago in fact), I have not a clue when it comes to rules about posting artwork (though something I intend to check into myself) so unfortunately, I will not be much help to you there! But, as I am a fellow Virginian (Richmond to be exact) - I thought I would say hello!
