Hello people

Hi there people. I wandered in here after googling for advice on how to deal with a wasp nest but it look fascinating enough that I think I'll ignore the wasps and hand around in the forum ;-)

Re: Hello people

Hello jnb, welcome to WAB I hope you decide to stick around now that you have found us.
Good luck with your wasp nest - I can offer you no help at all on that front but I am sure someone will be able to hep you, you may find it better to actually ask about it on the Insect forum where people in the know will be likely to see

Re: Hello people

Hi jnb,

A warm welcome to WAB, I think most of us on here drifted in looking for information and we have settled in, looking forward to your posts.

Just posted there. Seems a bit odd though for my first posts in a wildlife forum to be about how to kill the wildlife! ;-)

Re: Hello people

Welcome jnb, you see if it wasn't for wasps you’d never have found us, I knew wasps must have a use.

Enjoy the site.

Re: Hello people

Hello and welcome to the forum.
I had a wasps nest last year and contacted a local firm who dealt with it for £20. We had to get rid of it as it was inside a window frame and the house was filled with wasps every day.
You can also phone your local council who will deal with it.
