| | | Hi from Gaz-W Hi everybody, been a member of this place for a couple of months and until I'd not gotten around to posting on here. Thought the hello forum would be the place to lose my posting virginity. So here I am
Joined initially because I am a member of the Lincolnshire trust and do voluntary work there when I get the chance. While there I heard about this place and thought I'd give it a go.
Recently bought myself a Canon eos350d and have been out and about trying to catch great pictures of nature. Unfortunately so far every time I've seen a great fox, rabbit, stoat, deer, any exotic animal I've not had the camera to hand, or I've been to slow in setting it up. I have many pictures of squirrels tails but none of the rest of there bodies, lol.
Hopefully with help and advice I get from people I meet on here I'll improve
I've posted two of my pics in the unidentified section as I'm not sure exactly what species they are. My inability to recognise many things is another thing I hope to rectify while on here.
I'm currently working in the area of Newport in Wales and was also wondering if there was any voluntary work in the area I could join in with? |

Well I should get lots of opportunities to take pictures of more wildlife as I'm living on the side of a valley ion the outskirts of a little town in Wales called Wattsville. I see a big bird of prey most days gliding about the woodland on the other side of the valley. I've been trying to photograph it for weeks but keep failing miserably. Fingers crossed I'll catch a decent photo of it soon and someone on here can then identify it for me |
