Hi Ian,
Welcome to WAB!
I used to live in Suffolk. I think its a great county for nature lovers, largely because of the variety of habitats - you've got the coast, several big rivers with tidal estuaries, heaths, forests, etc. Especially good if you enjoy bird watching!
I'm a newcomer to WAB too, but I've already noticed there are several 'regulars' here who live in Suffolk.
