Hi,just a quick intro,just joined the forum today,i was mostly into serious birding for some twenty odd years,amounting a decent list in UK,but soon realised there was much more to be seen rather than driving hundreds of miles every weekend,now i take lots of pictures and i am really into Butterflies and flowers etc,

I'm new too, and have found this forum to be very informative and useful - oh, and everyone is so friendly as well!

Hi Robert, glad you have found us here and hope to see you around and some of your photo's. I love butterlflies and moths as well as birds. last Sunday I was at South Walney Nature reserve (Cumbria) and have never seen so many butterflies in my life - it was amazing, the gulls were pretty impressive too.
