Hello from Elmo

Hello. I'm Elmodiddly from Stafford, real name John. Elmo is the name of my cat in real life!

Been into the natural environment since I were a wee nipper thanks to my Dad and as my age has increased I've been hankering to contribute more and more.

Currently studying with the OU for a degree with Earth Sciences or Ecology which might help me when I start looking for a new job in a few years time.
I do work, I'm a Practice Manager of a large medical facility, which I enjoy but always feel I should be out there doing more for the environment.

Live in Stafford, Staffordshire, which has a fair share of open spaces, Cannock Chase, Staffordshire Moorlands etc, so I am lucky, although I work in Suffolk, so only get home at weekends.

Love Motorbikes, despite almost losing a finger to one a couple of months back, homebrew, my garden with veg patch and harvesting food when ripe in the countryside.

I'm always open to suggestions of where to go for a free seasonal meal!
The whole lifestyle and ethos of people like Hugh Fearnley–Whittingstall really appeal to me and to gain enough knowledge to be able to go out into the "wild" and bring back a bounty would make me very proud indeed.

Hi Elmodiddly. welcome to the WAB forum. You obviously lead a very busy life, what with your long commutes to Suffolk and your OU course work. I must confess I enjoy watching Hugh F W. too and I appreciate his ethnic lifestyle.
