But there are bound to be one or two members who do and they might be able to help you with your request. Good luck. |

If you go to the 'Treehouse' forum and find the thread 'Wildlife centres', you may be able to help me. I shall be staying near Keswick for a short break soon.

| | | Re: Lake District Hello!!!!!!!!! Hi Annmercia - lucky you there can't be a much better place for the great outdoors. I'm sure you'll soon make some contacts. As it happens I'll be camping for ! night near Keswick on Saturday. Hope the weather is fine as that might be seen as the area one minor problem.
Hope to see your post soon. |

| | Re: Lake District Hello!!!!!!!!! aw! you all sound really friendly! Have recently been phoning up the wildlife trust, and local groups - the nearest one to me is kendal - which is strange really as I'm right in the middle of the national park and there's nothing around here. The lakes authorities and wildlife trusts are very good at talks and walks, but there's not much things like days out to nature reserves, badger watching, bats etc - which I really love.
I recently lived in Grasmere (just moved) and we had a group of badgers that came to the door each night - they absolutely loved peanut butter sandwiches - now I am in the twon as apposed to te country so feeling the loss a little - | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
