| | | Know any Wildlife Centres/Hospitals? Hi, there! I'm Becky, 25, from North Yorkshire and i'm new to the board.
I have a question that is the bane of my life at the moment. Does anybody know of any wildlife centres/hospitals in the North Yorkshire/County Durham area? Every time i think i've found somewhere the place isn't there anymore or isn't what i thought it was. Basically i'm wanting to volunteer to get some hands on experience rehabilitating wildlife such as hedgehogs, foxes etc. I think it's the only way i'm going to get out of my miserable job and into something i know is the career for me.
Any info will be appreciated greatly!
Thanks, Becky |

I'm in N.Yorkshire (Skipton area) but have had a real job finding anywhere round here to take in my poorly birds and animals that I find
Maybe if you contact a few local vets they can advise if there are any rescues locally to you? Afterall they should know!

| | | Re: Know any Wildlife Centres/Hospitals? Hi Cazzie!
I live between Catterick Village and Bedale, basically my house surrounded by fields, and am always finding injured animals. I think the RSPCA are fed up with me calling them, but i never know who else to turn to. I think i will ask my vet about wildlife places, never thought of that. I tried asking wildlife rescues further afield but they don't seem to know of anywhere. |
