| | | Here at last! There were a few bogs (not as bad as the one on Ilkley moor that I fell into one winters day- its was small but deep and contained the skeleton and wool of a large sheep- that'll teach me to try to lean too far to try to fetch the skull )
Well, I just had to wait ages for my activation e-mail, just when I messaged admin it got unstuck from wherever it was and arrived.
I've probably just trod on the rare bug you were all looking at too
Anyway, I'm Gytrash's girl (yes, I fell for the free chocolate ploy). I come from Somerset but have been living in West Yorkshire for three years and a bit. Still getting used to it!
I'm studying for a degree in animal health welfare, hope to top it up to a BSc in animal management in a couple of years, I'll be looking into the domestic animal line of work at the end of it. I'm still interested in all things wild, especially the weather (what dastard posted a link to that lightening detector site? I'm addicted) and mammals. We have two cats, a Siamese and a British Shorthair, and six spiny mice ( acomys cahirinus AKA cat-TV*) that I'm fostering for a rescue. Its interesting looking after them but I prefer animals that like human company.
We have a good bit of wildlife round here, as we live in the greenbelt
*Looking for good homes!
Speak to you all soon!
