What great shots! Love the Common Tern chick! SOOOOO cute I'd love to see some Puffins too. You're too modest - the quality of some of the pics on here is admittedly great, but some of yours are not too shabby. Put it this way, the quality of yours has pretty much nailed on my choice for my new camera - the Canon 400D. I'd be made up with the shots you've posted. (Mind you, anything will be better than using my mobile phone used for all my Gallery pics so far ) What lens(es) were you using by the way?
Anyway, a big warm welcome to WAB

Gareth | Hi Gareth
looks like your a canon fan
iam using sigma 70-300 lens also macro, which is on the zoom lens, saves you changing lens each time, only had this camera since november, still working it out,iam happy with this camera, up to now lol.
iam out most days, dont think you can get enough pratice, also got a 18-35 lens, to be honest very rare i use it, for wild life you need to be close up the zoom and macro suit me fine, if you thinking of buying a EOS D400, the lens ive got apart from the small one you cant go wrong, iam after a wide angle lens, have to learn more about it before i buy,
it can be a expecive mistake, if you buy the wrong lens.
hope that helps youo out, tc nice chatting
