Hi I joined yesterday but have only just discovered where I can come in and say hi (be rude not to  ) This forum is wonderful! I've been missing somewhere to talk about wildlife since the Springwatch forum closed.
I have a passion for birds, my garden is slowly being taken over by feeders! A couple of weekends ago I built a small wildlife pond and am now waiting for it to be used.

My real name is Ro (Rosemary) and my username is just a mish-mash of that, well kind of......  At least I have the knowledge that mine won't be used anywhere else I suppose  |

MMac | I saw it being used for the first time at the weekend by a young Blackbird. It walked around the edge for ages before finally taking a dip! I've put some rocks near the edge that it uses to sit on. As it sat there a few House Sparrows ventured down for a nose and the blackbird started opening its mouth for a feed, bless...! So yes I'm very happy that my pond is finally being used! |
