Dumfries? .... I am not sure I know much about your part of the world .... I have to confess that it is an area that I have only travelled through on numerous occasions on the way to the Scottish Highlands.

Thanks for your warm welcome guys
my hobbys were fishing and gardening but because
of an illness in my back i have had to put them in touch.
and have taken up photography which i find more relaxing.
and i am finding lots of good tips and advice on the forum.
Richew, Dumfries is in the southwest of scotland and is 20 minutes
from the solway coast where there is lots of wildlife and beautiful
scenery. |

After all Essex to the Highlands is a very long way!
