| | | Re: Hello Welcome to WAB John - bearing in mind that anglers apparently may sit all day and catch nothing, I guess you see lots of activity from the river bank. Any observations of wildlife and its behaviour would be very welcome.
The Lincolnshire coast is fascinating also - have you noticed any changes in recent years with the decline of the fishing industry; has there been any increase or decrease locally in sea creature numbers - can all have a knock on effect with other wildlife. |

| | | Re: Hello Seen lots of very interesting things whilst fishing, loads of different birds from Wigeon and pochard to things like Goosander, Great Northern Diver and Terns had Kingfisher landing on the rods and a Robin sitting on the back of my chair because like you say you spend a bit of time in the same spot then you get more animals accepting you.
Not to sure on what effect the fishing industry going has had on teh wildlife, i know round us we get a lot more what would have been considered rare birds, things like Little Egrets |
