Thanks for the welcome all-i mainly roam the countryside and coast of Northunberland and find lots of species to keep me and the son busy.My thinking is for the little fellow to learn as much as possible from our fantastic surrounding countryside,historic sites etc.
I was once stuck in the holiday inn? complex near Ijmuiden waiting to get offshore onto a rig from Den Helder-i would walk onto the manmade piers/sea defences and watch the birdlife and sea bass going crazy for sandeels on top of the water inside the piers.
At the back of the hotel was WWII concrete defences which were still in place,quite an industrial place but very interesting all the same...thanks from sixo. |

It is a really nice place to live - not the prettiest town but there is plenty of greenery, wonderful beaches and we right on the edge of the National park. |
