| | | Hello from Mid Wales Hello,
I'm jo from Mid Wales. I've lived around here for most of my life and love the countryside. I don't know a lot about wildlife, but am learning all the time. I found the site while trying to identify a caterpillar, it looks just what I've been looking for, covering all the aspects of wildlife. I have only become interested recently in insects as had phobias of pretty much everything (still have of spiders....although not so bad if outside lol). I love butterflies and dragonflies particularly (was really scared of both these). There looks lots on here for me to have a look at so I'll get looking. Thanks for letting me join.

I've just joined today as well
I'm so hooked. Need to get some sleep but everyone is so nice and friendly here plus there is so much to look at and discuss with like-minded people. It's great
I'm sure you won't be disappointed you signed up from my short experiences so far.
Just out of interest, where abouts in Mid Wales are you from? I lived in Cardiff for 3 years while I was at Uni and love Wales. Often went walking up in the Brecon Beacons

Welcome to WAB.
Mid-Wales is one of my favourite areas for birdwatching, particularly in May when all the summer visitors have arrived.

| | | Re: Hello from Mid Wales Lots of dragons to see here , I suspect there will be swarms of them next week when a lot of organised people are all meeting up in Surrey somewhere just for the dragons (there was mention of beer and curry as well but hopefully won't see pictures of those items in the gallery)
