| | | hi , new member needing help hi , I,ve got a question about a pigeon that is in my garden .
its been there now for about 3/4 days , i noticed that it seems to be dragging its left wing and appears unable to fly .So I have started feeding it and leaving water out.
A friend came around the other day and caught the pigeon ,we had a look and it seems to have been shot with a pellet gun , As far as we can see the pellet is not still in the birds wing and as not gone though its wing .
Is there any chance of the birds wing getting better , what should I do |

| | | Re: hi , new member needing help if i was you i'd catch it and take it to the nearest wildlife hospital ( abig list of which can be found in the wildaboutbritain website forum here http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/fo...e-centres.html ) it clearly isnt going to survive long term in that condition but there is a good chance that skilled medics could repair the wing - especially if it is just infected etc rasther than being badly broken
