Hello from Grimsby

Hi All My name is Angie and as you can see I'm from Grimsby. I'm a keen nature photographer getting some quite stunning results from a rather basic compact digital, and have a passion for mini beasties!

I spend a lot of time at Watersedge in Barton upon Humber where I am still waiting for the dragon flies to arrive (everyone else keeps telling me they have them but not me yet )

Hoping to share some photos with you and also to get some help identifying what the creatures are I am so actively pursuing.

Looking forward to getting to know you

Hello Angie, welcome to WAB. It will be good to see some of your photo's, I am also a compact camera user but am having trouble with it at the mo' which is a nightmare. Good luck with finding your dragonflies and I'll see you round the forum.

Hi Angie,

A warm welcome to WAB, glad to hear your a keen compact user, I also use a compact but also have a DSLR which I take if I feel up to carrying it, I think the quality of photos taken with compacts are amazing so I am looking forward to your posts and photos.

Carol.

Re: Hello from Grimsby

Hi Angie and a warm welcome from me. I spend time at Waters Edge at Barton as well, being only a twenty minute drive for me. I haven't seen any dragonflies there this year yet either although there are plenty at Messingham reserve in Lincolnshire. Maybe we will meet sometime.
Look forward to seeing any photos you post. Enjoy the site
Roger
