Thank you all for the welcome. I look forward to becoming part of this community, I am sure that I can learn a lot from you.
I had started a blog about the wood. It was intended for my family and is a bit light hearted. Maybe I will create something more grown up now.
I need to apologise in advance for the quality of the pictures, I don't own a camera and all the pics are from my mobile phone. I know how disapointed some of you will be, that I encountered adders and didn't have a camera with me. I will sort this out. I never expected to find them.
And I would like to know more about these little beasties, I was actually worried about Max meeting wild boar.

I can't post as often as I would like to. I like to get up at four am and spend a couple of hours with my dogs before work. Quality time. By the time I get home from work I am pretty whacked. So if I take a few days off please don't think that I am being rude. Sometimes I don't look at the computator for days.
