| | | New Starter Hi,
I've got a digital SLR camera and have always been interested in photographing my familty. There's a competition I've seen that I want to enter, its pictures of 'cold' things and I thought this would realy come under wild about britain, I dont know what I'll do yet, but looking at everyone else's pictures I thought this is a good place to get advice!!

I'm sure you'll find plenty of inspiration from the gallery images and as 'cold' can cover so many different topics you've certainly got plenty of room to play about with some ideas.
You'll probably find some great opportunities if you out and about just before sunrise, when there's still a light frost, dew on the ground and plenty of mist to give the picture some atmosphere.
Best of luck

I've spent some time looking through everyone's pictures for inspiration, but I could do with some kind of filter tool. Is there anyway to search the photo's with references? So if I wanted to search for all pictures that are 'cold' rather than search birds, landscapes etc
I think I'll go with a landscape for my entry, which will mean some travel, but the pictures I have found have shown me what can be done.
I dont know if anyone will be interested, but the competition I'm looking to enter is at www.coolthermal.com - the prize isn't as good as some of the other competitions, but they seem to have a good attitude and there might be less people entering it, so I could stand a chance!!
Thanks for your help
