Smile Hi from Lincoln

hello all,
Descovered this site whilst doing a 'google' for some information.
I'm from Lincoln & live out in the sticks.
I have a small Nature Reserve next door to me which was openend about 18months ago & am a regular visitor, especially with the camera.
My passion however is my garden birds & wildlife which I watch for hours, lots of guests, most of which I photograph.
Whilst I'm not really a computer expert, this site looks friendly & packed with useful information..I look forward to getting involved.
Janet xx

Re: Hi from Lincoln

Hello Janet, so glad you have joined us, you don't have to be a computer expert to join in - your love of wildlife and goings on in your garden are credentials enough. That is exactly how I got into it all myself, took an interest in the birds in the garden and it snowballed from there. I joined WAB after finding it by chance, ID-ing something and have never looked back! Welcome

Re: Hi from Lincoln

Hi Janet welcome to WAB.I am also new to this website and found it by accident. It is a wonderful site and you can pick up all the information you need.I live near a nature reserve and after watching kingfishers fairly close up for the first time it has inspired me to take up photograhpy. There is no better stress reliever than sitting watching beautiful wildlife.Welcome again and enjoy.

Re: Hi from Lincoln

Hi Janet,
I joined the site last year and have found it the font of all knowledge for things in the garden, Look out for the humming bird hawk moth which is the reason I logged onto the site, I saw one regularly last year.

Rgds

Steve
