I look forward to chatting although I will try not to bore everyone with too much on Voles. Although a post today on the "don't want Dragonflys" (I wish) got me dead jealous of Jenny S who has a pond where she releases Goldfish to feed a local Otter, now that must be a serious pond. Any way back to the point my fav pond are two rectangular ponds at Wicken Fen. there shape is not natural but over the years they have become overgrown and they are stuffed full of interesting insects. Dragonflys, damsels, spiders and if that is not enough the wooden stages are home to lots of common lizards. To find it instead of turning right to visitors centre turn left go through a small wardens yard and at the first round pond turn left.
