Hi good people of the night :-D

I've joined this group very briefly to ask your opinion on something. I also belong to another forum (name withheld to protect the innocent ;-)) and they have a "goodnight" thread where people wish each other exactly that. I love this idea, but I have always wondered how this would go down on WAB. I noticed this group do this, but you are really just a handful of regular posters (possibly because "groups" do not thrive on WAB for some reason, and also because very few people are around in the wee small hours ;-)). But you people all seem to be very good-hearted and know how to have fun. And there are many long-standing members here.

So, my question is this. If I started a "goodnight all" thread on WAB, do you think it would be well-received, go down like a lead balloon, or even be mysteriously "ushered away" by the Mods, like so many other threads have been lately?

Not sure now. Maybe I was a bit tipsy when I dreamt up the idea. Not sure that WAB is the sort of place where this would be appreciated. LOL

Hi Ashlee, I'm fairly new and I think it's a lovely idea. After all it would be Voluntary, not Compulsory so give it a go. I also think that there are people who for their own reasons sit on the sidelines but rarely post, this Might be for them. Only trouble is, if I wake up from a deep sleep suddenly realising that I had forgetten to say G'nite , do I have to get up, switch on ,find page, and SAY G'nite ? ? ......EEK...GRIN....Stick-out tongue etc. ,,,,,,,,POSIE,,,,
