Insects represent more than half of all known living organisms and and are found in every habitat in the British Isles from the peaks of the Scottish Highlands to the shores of Cornwall. Due to their huge diversity and large numbers they are often encountered on a daily basis without really looking. To some people this starts an interest, the Insect forum here on WAB is one of busiest whether its an expert opinion or and ID on a common species from a novice there is much to say, but in some cases it would be convenient to talk longer or ask further questions, share ideas so this group will hopefully cater for beginner and expert alike.
