Hi Fox Fans! On Sunday, oh and I had a mooch around our allotment site, around 8pm. I rounded a corner and literally stopped in my tracks as a fox was only yards away from me. He/she was jumping up, trying to dislodge something from a pole stuck in the ground, eventually grabbing it. He/she turned, looked at me and sauntered off with the booty. I've since learned the object of Foxy's determined efforts,was a rabbits head (Yuk) left there by one of the plotholders who delights in shooting marauding bunnies and pigeons who attack his crops. I hung around and Foxy came back, sniffed around and disappeared again. Brilliant views! I'd heard there are foxes on our allotments but not seen one in the five years we've been there. Well worth the wait though. Cheers.
