Badger nightcam results

Hello All.

I really wanted to share my experiences recently of capturing the beautiful badger on my newly purchased Acorn Stealth Infared camera.

Since being in a new house in East Sussex, I've noticed a great deal of active badger setts in the woods and park opposite the house. I go walking daily in the park and capture a massive amount of wildlife on my Cannon SLR.

However, for months now, I've been meaning to purchase a camera I can leave outdoors overnight to capture what I'm sure is plenty of badger activity.

So, this weekend just gone (11 Feb 12), the postman arrives with my new toy and that night it's strapped to a tree awaiting the wildlife. (It feels very strange spending £120 on a camera then leaving it in a park overnight).

Anyway, this paid off and I wanted to share the second nights filming with you below on YouTube. I'm absolutely delighted with the results and can't wait to capture more.... Enjoy.

Excellent stuff

Really love badgers, they always make me smile.

I see you aren't far away (I'm in Hastings) - we seem to do well with Badgers in my part of town too and I'm lucky to get them in the garden alot and approachable for photos (they got used to the shutter noise and flash) Pics on here somewhere if interested

I've only just got myself a little camera that has HD video on it and I'll be practicing with it on the badgers when they are more predictable in their visits. Your clip makes me more enthusiastic!
