Gypsy Blood - Channel 4

This programme was apparently shown recently on Channel 4 and is available on the web.

I have not personally seen the programme since I am currently offshore and unable to access it via the web.

However it is causing a fair old froth on the shooting and deerstalking forums since it apparently shows several cases in which wildlife crimes are committed and scenes which may infringe animal cruelty laws.

A number of people have voiced complaints to channel 4, ofcom, and police.

Whilst many people on here do not agree with "bloodsports" I think I can assume that all are in favour of having wildlife and animal cruelty laws enforced and most would question whether graphic scences of both should be on air unless arrest scenes follow.

Have any forum members seen this documentary? If you have, and feel the same way as the shooting community apparently do can I suggest that you make your views known to the programme makers and our law enforcement agencies.

I didn't watch this its not my sort of program the gipsy community seem to be above the law they do not abide by the law or rules apart from the ones they make up I hate this sort of program I didn't watch the big fat gipsy wedding either why they do these programs I will never know.

i saw some of the program on 4 while it was hard to watch and i dont agree with any killing of wild animals . i am of the opinion that these are just doing what they have done for many hundard years and that is hunt for there food yes they are breaking laws but i dont think any amount of complaining will change the way they do things .it is there way of life .
please dont get me wrong i dont agree with what they do . as for channel 4 are they not trying to let people understand what the gypsie life is like .

the was a scene where they had a cock fight it was really hard to watch these two birds fight till the death all in the name of entertainment you watched as one of the birds died my heart sank .
