Weird time of day for a cat to be hunting.

Yes, how would it have trouble getting on the car? Especially if it was two or three times the size of a lurcher. I'm not sure I can imagine the size a cat that big.

| | | Re: Big cat in Lancs I was looking to see if there was a pub nearby Calf Hey reservoir that could account for an attempt at putting the area on the map. I used Google maps and other searches. There is a cafe that appears to have just opened when the picture was taken. The date on the image says 2011, but I'm not sure if it was taken this recently or not. So I shall put my cynicism on a back burner for now.
I took a "walk" up Calf Hey Road while I was at it. At one point the Google camera took a shot of a shape in the road that had disappeared the next instant.
I've called it a Boggart. I didn't give it a name, that would be suicide I believe.

| | | Re: Big cat in Lancs OH, please - the dog could get on the roof of the car, but the cat (two to three times its size, mind you) couldnt???? Hello???????? I love big cat stories (like the Queen of Hearts, I can believe as many as six impossible things before breakfast) - but I do like fairy tales to have at least a modicum of believability. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
