Springwatch with Bill Oddie - BBC 2

Now in its fourth year, the phenomenally successful 'Springwatch with Bill Oddie', also presented by Kate Humble and Simon King, looks at wildlife during spring at a farm in Devon, and various locations throughout the UK. Televised over a period of three weeks, with one hour episodes each night from Monday to Thursday, the program uses the latest technology to give viewers a revealing insight to one of the busiest periods of the British wildlife calendar.
In January of each year, the BBC and the Woodland Trust launch a huge survey into the arrival of spring across the UK, inviting the public to watch out for the first appearance of six key species in their region and record their findings at bbc.co.uk/springwatch. Bill and Kate then present the findings, and show viewers how they can still get further involved in helping to complete picture of the season as it unfolds across the country.
