Pig cultivators

Hi folks, we were walking out in the Wyre Forest yesterday. Last year a large area had been felled. Yesterday we found an area had been fenced off & around 2 dozen pigs were in there. There rooting around seems to have done the ground good.
I wondered what type of pigs they are?

Hi,

from left to right I think you've got an Oxford Sandy and Black, a Gloucester Old Spot and a Large Black. All quite young.

I don't know my pigs, (my Grandparents raised Durocs, so that's the limit of my breed recognition) but that first one is a lovely coloured pig!

Hi Gerel & Jaelen, many thanks for naming the pigs. I did think the last one was Gloucester Old Spot (that`s the only one I know!)
The sandy one is beautiful isn`t he

We're currently "hopefully" looking into getting a couple of weaners for next year so we've been looking at various old breeds. Large Blacks are my pick at the moment, but Sandy and Blacks are in the running too.
