That's a great article Nightshade. Thanks for sharing it here.
If the government really had an eye on the long-term future, they'd safe-guard 0national bio-diversity. But in reality, they only ever have an eye on the next election, and what short-term gains they can make in that time. It is up to charities and NGO's to work together, and combine their efforts, but I don't see that happening any time soon.
