Graham | The reason I hardly ever watch it is that every year you know they are going to highlight the same species they did last year, and the year before, and the year before that, and the cuter the better.

I stand by what I've said in this thread and I hope I have given my opinions without insulting people who had contributed to the thread so far, even though whilst I was making my points someone said that I must be miserable. My opinions were honestly given and not intended to cause offence.

Hence the use of the word troll. Perhaps a bit strong, but your first post on this forum could be described as 'offensive' to all those who posted comments that disagree with yourself, especially when you were directing people from the autumnwatch page to this forum implying we are all a 'miserable bunch' |

I expected some topical comments regarding the wildlife content featured in the new series of BBC Autumwatch. I assumed, obviously quite wrongly, that contributors to a wildlife forum such as this would be only too pleased to welcome back Autumnwatch as there's precious few programmes on TV featuring British wildlife as it is. What a disappointment to read the many negative comments surrounding the format and presentation of the programme. Is that all you're watching it for, to critique every move and mannerism the presenters make? OK ok, it's the wildlife you want to see - I get that - so why not post a compliment on the feature regarding the SSSI bat roost or the osprey tagging? Nope, clearly being rude and offensive (troll!)is much more fun than going down the compassion and complimentary route eh. |

What a disappointment to read the many negative comments surrounding the format and presentation of the programme was. Is that all you're watching it for the BBC think about wildlife?! To make presenters behave like that? OK ok It's more wildlife I want to see - I get it? I enjoyed the feature regarding the SSSI bat roost or and the osprey tagging ?. Nope But the BBC seemed to be clearly being rude and offensive (troll!) to their viewers. Making us watch their presenters behave stupidly and act like they are having is much more fun rather than going down the compassion ate and complimentary route eh of not insulting our intelligence, and promoting British wildlife in such a way as to enthuse and inspire future generations to come.
