Holes in garden

Does anyone have any idea what is digging holes in my garden?
They have appeared overnight during the last few days. The largest is 15cm diameter and 15cm deep.

I live in suburbia just outside London. My garden backs onto a recreation ground.

Possibly a Fox.

Fox or rabbits have you got any rabbits near by as dos look like the holes left by my next doors rabbits in my garden when they got in under fence, used to be digging for roots.

I haven't seen any rabbits but there is a gap under the fence at the end of the garden so they could get in. It's big enough for a fox as well.
