| | | wild otters got my first glimpse of a wild otter in northants,
how common are otters in northants ? how common are they in general ?
i got one picture of it then my battery died :-( |

| | | Re: wild otters Otters are sort Of being spotted more often now, as water ways are getting cleaner and their are more munchies for them.
I know for the wyre forest area otters are still uncommon, but more people are seeing their leavings (prints and poos)! :-) Only seen them on our cameras as they are in the river under our town centre :-D
You should be able to get more info from your local wildlife groups

The Beccles Otter trust introduction scheme has been stopped for several years as they have been so successful. |

The British freshwater eel is already having a hard time, and when the Otters start to eat large amounts of wild salmon their going to come head on with very wealthy land owners.
