8 x 4 board this is what I found underneath in nature reserve

I was hoping to find a adder or grass snake but when I lifted the board I saw what I think were Field voles so no chance of me finding a snake then . Found eight slow-worms various bugs ill keep looking see what else I may find.

Its a Bank Vole.

You may still get snakes under the boards, especially adder which predate small mammals, however I dont know the area so not sure if they are around or if the boards in a suitable position.
