The most frequent visitor to our feeders this summer have been the sparrows, and second to them must be the starlings.

We haven't seen a single finch all year.

The pond was full of tadpoles- and quite a few of them seem to have survived... we're still getting regular visits from adults; there were two out there this evening.

Only saw one newt, but as mucky as our pond was up until last month I'm surprised we even managed to see that one!
