Jim | Haven't they learnt to paint the undersides of their paws with cream paint, so they can hide upside down in the village custard pond ?

| | | Re: Big Cats Living As Wild In The Uk We've not seen one but there have been a number of reports in the local press over the years of supposed big black cat sightings here in lincs. a few years ago, someone my husband used to work with saw what he said was one when he was travelling to work in the early hours of the morning on a country lane in the middle of nowhere, in the distance he thought it was a sheet of black polythene that had blown into the road and was moving in the breeze but as he got closer this big black animal that had been eating road kill slinked off over the grass verge and through the hedge,it was much bigger than a domestic cat and as there were no houses in the area didn't know where it came from or went

I have spoken to the local police wildlife liasion officer who confirmed there are puma and lynx breeding in the area. He claims to know who released them, several years ago.
I have asked neighbours and seveal people confirm reports of big cat sightings and one family claim to have heard snarling noises in a local quarry. Optical illusions do not snarl. | hi , you said you were taking to police wildlife liasion officer, could u maybe email me with details , on what he told you about the lynx and puma @ weeleahpie@aol.com . thanks |

End quote.
I have been back through the posts as far as No 11, but cannot see where this comment was originally posted so I do not know what comments were said in reply, but surely a creature which goes to all the trouble of being very secretive is not going to give the game away by 'snarling' (and for no apparent reason ?)
