Hetton le Hole - Naturally

I live in Hetton le Hole on the edge of Sunderland and have created a community facebook page with the above title. If anyone is interested in the area or thinking of visiting they may wish to look at the page. Rainton Meadows, run by Durham Wildlife Trust, is in the locality.

I always try to promote this site for nature lovers in the area and give credit when I've had help in IDing the subject of an image posted on facebook.

Rainton meadows is a lovely place and has a nice little room for a cup of tea!

If you want to go somewhere new this Saturday, Gosforth Park Nature Reserve has a public open day. Usually it is only open to members.
