| | | Bats We have a couple of bats (not sure which type) that fly about as it gets dark round the back garden, its fantastic to watch as they flit about in the air.Last night they made another appearance and i'm intrigued to know whether the 2 bats i keep seeing could be mating bats, its like they are chasing each other as well as the insects..its almost like they are playing together.Be good to get some info on these wonderful creatures. |

If you have an outside garden light, try leaving it on for a while after dusk. This will attract moths and other night flying insects, and with a bit of luck the bats...Bob

I haven't seen or heard bats round here for a while I have just acquired a mothtrap though so can't wait to see what that attracts

Julian | Hi Julian,
They are great to watch arent they,i keep popping out in the evening hoping to catch a glimpse of them..i think i'll leave the outside light on that might attract the bats abit closer as they seem to like flying around my neighbours garden (i know they have a pond so this could be why they like it round here),roll on tonight | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
