I assume rabbits get most their water from the grass and dew etc, as you never see them near a stream. I know the rabbits do do a lot of damage, but I do wonder if part of that is down to farmers and gamekeepers killing their main predators, especially foxes, to preserve their pheasants.
The sheep will not be going to the slaughter house. At ten years plus, I don't think they will be very edible. Anyway, they are pets/lawnmowers so they lead a very blessed and pampered life.
Thanks for the reply.

Richard. | Aww bless,
there was a sheep at the pub I used to go to in Derby it used to go round all the people for crisps and tit bits they make quite good pets.
I agree about the foxes but they are opportunists they go for the easy picking of chickens and the farmer here hires pest controllers to shoot them..
It said on the program (I cant find it on iplayer) that we should eat them more..
I dont disagree with this but I dont like rabbit they do sell it in the farm shops here. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
