| | | Re: field mouse If you are keen on feeding the mouse I would get more expert advice. Human milk is probably far too rich for the mouse and would cause gastric problems.
Cheers,

I think Adam's advice is well worth thinking about. |

| | | Re: field mouse Don`t know if you are serious on this or not.
I read somewhere a while ago that Mouse Milk is very close in it`s make up to Human Breast Milk.
However I tried to milk a mouse but could not get bucket small enough to fit under it.

| | | Re: field mouse Yesterday morning my cat bought a field mouse home, the mouse was exhausted and terrified but other wise un inured. Ive followed all the advice i can find, she is in a tin with a lid in the airing cupboard along with some cat food, peanut butter and hampster food bededing etc. Last night she gave birth to three still born babies. This morning ive done my best to chnge her bedding remove the dirty bedding with out disturbing her changed the water food etc and returned her to the airing cupboard in the warm and quiet. Before she had given birth last night i had every intention of letting her go, but now she seems very subdued, i have no idea id she is still having babies and when to release her, i do not want to keep her captive unless she needs to be but i will not take her to a vets to be stressed. So i am open to any advice i can get please. |
