| | | Bank holiday jaunts What are people up to this Bank Holiday, wildlife-wise I mean? Just being nosy.
I am still trying to decide what to do. I know I can't go a whole B/H weekend without doing something green and pleasant.

And we'll be going for a nice big adventure with our children this weekend, not decided where yet, but it'll involve a big walk with lots to see.
Next weekend I think we're going up Tryfan (without the kids) I believe the views are better than Snowdon (?) and I presume it will be a little less busy! |

Is it looking for newts to watch?
I'll be pond watching as usual and I might light the huge bonfire which has built up since last autumn. On the other hand I probably won't because there'll be creatures occupying it still. Sorting out a butterfly drinker. Might buy a Lavender plant - Don't bees like them? I have lots of Bumble bees in my garden.
Otherwise, driving about 200 miles round trip to have Sunday lunch with a traffic cop mate of mine. Will be sticking some sound gear in the back of a very sporty sounding car to do a recording I need. Might wash my car (a 3 hour handwash usually) as she hasn't been done for a few weeks and because there'll probably be some photography.
