i dont really want to start two threads on the smae night but anyway. Before christmas sometime in october or november i found a catipillar or shrub on a pea plant as i was growing in my bedroom (as an experiment). Any way i couldnt kill the little fella so i left him there. 5 months later hes still there, but he decided to go on a stroll today and i found him in my bed. I still cant kill him after getting to know him and naming him george. But what shall i do with him? Put him in a tub with a pea plant so he doesnt go walkabouts again? thanks for reading

Sounds likeyour caterpillar is getting ready to pupate. We could do with a photo to see what species it is and what startaergy it uses to pupate. Alternatively you could release it in a garden where it will find an area for itself.
