| | | Cat Flap Toad The Cat (old one-eye) would not go out through his flap this morning, I looked at the flap and there was a huge Toad sat in the aperture, I had to remove it and wipe it clean. I went around the outside to clean the outer
part of the flap and there were another two on the doorstep.

Quote:
Well there is a different version of the story and the man-eating toads. In this version Giraldus Cambrensis tells of a young man called Cecil Longlegs who "during a severe illness, suffered as violent a persecution from toads, as if the reptiles of the whole province had come to him by agreement; and though destroyed by his nurses and friends, they increased again on all sides in infinite numbers; being wearied out, he was drawn up in a kind of bag into a high tree, stripped of its leaves; nor was he there secure from his venomous enemies, for they crept up the tree in great numbers, and consumed him to the very bones"

| | | Re: Cat Flap Toad A close friend is living in Zambia and in the last week has had; a toad in the bedroom, mice in the pantry, ants throughout the house, a gecko in the bath and a snake turned up for the picnic in the garden. |

All I could think of was the McCartney bulfrog song | I've always remembered that tale of Giraldus' since I first read it. Used to use it in my talks for a bit of light relief.
I know nothing of this McCartney bullfrog song of which you speak
