| | Cats. GRRRR! I get a heck of a lot of birds in my garden!
But.....there are also about 6 cats that pass through & stake out the poor little birdies.
Every now & again getting lucky!
Can anyone suggest a safe but effective way of deterring them from coming into my garden please?!
Thanks.

There's a minimum of research for you to do on here, in order to find a threadfull of ideas for Cat Deterents.
You will not even have to scroll back by even a month. |

| | | Re: Cats. GRRRR! I had up to 9 different Cats visiting mine on a regular basis but found a washing up liquid bottle full of water does the trick most of the time and now i dont even have to use it and once they hear the backdoor chain go they are off It dosnt hurt the cats but tells them they are not welcome. I do not hate Cats by the way but just want the local birdlife to have a chance to feed .
Raised multiple bird feeders are also a very good thing and the large pole feeder types are excellent for keeping cats at a distance while the birds feed. but best placed in an open area of garden where cats cannot pounce from fences or walls on to it. The birds will come to it if they feel safe to feed. |

| | | Re: Cats. GRRRR! Most effective Jim, although it does render the pelt unsaleable. Think I'll stick with my catapult and 9mm pebbles sensitively aimed and the moggies rear end. |

I'm pretty sure you can buy an electronic deterent. Ones which gives out a sound at a higher frequency which cats can hear to keep them off your property...
