If anybody knows anyother reliable methods please let me know. The other problem is i cannot see when the cat is there so am unable to scare them away myself.
Any advice is greatly appreciated
Thanks

I know that some people recommend disinfectant type thing but it's never been effective foor us. We've tried various pepper compounds but (a) you need a vast amound of it to protect your garden, (b) it's not easy to get it to attach to fences and hedges, (c) it easily gets washed away. |

| | | Re: discouraging cats For those who are convinced that their dear feline pet wouldn't dream of catching and playing with a bird, I think it was David Attenborough who narrated a TV docu a year or two ago which specifically proved what murdering so-and-so's their cats were. The cat owners were surprised and shocked and couldn't disagree with the filmed evidence.
