| | | Professional Dog Walkers Hi Folks,
Is there a legal limit to the number of dogs a professional dog walker can have with them at any one time.
Cheers,

| | | Re: Professional Dog Walkers Wandsworth and I think Kensington & Chelsea in London officially restrict it to 4, but we still see more in our local park.
The 1,2,3,4 makes me laugh

| | | Re: Professional Dog Walkers Yeah, had a chuckle at that poster myself. Four seems to be the consensus on an informal non-enforceable level. We're having issues at work with a few pro's who have anything up to 9 dogs per person, most of whom are off lead.
Cheers,

Adam | Ive seen 9 off the lead in richmond park in the middle of the rut, so if there is a law, its not enforced! |

The whipper in and the huntsman should be able to control the pack single handed. |

| | | Re: Professional Dog Walkers If the dogs are out of control or causing problems, it may be worthwhile contacting your local authority Dog warden. They could advise on whether professional dog-walkers should have some kind of insurance cover in case of injury to someone, or property damage, caused by a dog in their care.

| | | Re: Professional Dog Walkers How do you know they are Professional dog walkers, there is no law as far as I know on owning and walking as many dog
as you like I often see the farmers wife walking 5 or 6 dogs of the lead and they ain't friendly either.
Then there is another bloke who has 4 huskies they are kept on the lead and they are a handful when they see another dog.
These are people who own the dogs. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
