| | | Re: Wildlife goals for 2011? Not UK related but we are off to Malta in April where we hope to find our first Chameleons and also some Algerian Whip snakes which only occur in Europe on Malta.
Have no other goals but may take a trip to Scotland with my girlfriend to show her an Osprey nest near Perth, the Salmon ladder at Pitlochry dam and then on to North Uist to see Red deer,Seals, Golden Eagles and Sea Eagles etc. |

My goals for 2011:
1) Get my article on otters for a local magazine finished and printed.
2) Get some nighttime otter photos with the trail camera.
3) Get Gallery-quality badger photos.
4) Line up a badger article.
5) Get passable puffin photos.
6) Find a local wall-lizard colony
What are your 2011 wildlife goals? | Hi Nigel - how did you first come of the idea about writing the article? What are you going to be including in it, have you been doing some research? |

| | | Re: Wildlife goals for 2011? I would really like to get involved with some local voluntary wildlife work.
I would like to photograph wildlife with greater purpose rather than grabbing a shot whilst out and about (although I also love those moments).
I would like take on some more challenging walks. I have been to the Brecons/Snowdonia/Glencoe etc but haven't really pushed myself and I know I'm capable of more.
I will enter at least one photographic contest, most likely with my land/seascape photography.
Well that should keep my busy for a while, will be good to look back at this in a year and see how I did

| | | Re: Wildlife goals for 2011? I've just ticked off the first of my goals for 2011, to see the murmuration of starlings at Brighton, and it was wonderful. Can't wait to go again now! | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
