Apparently this is quite conmon on surveys. | I'll have to take issue with this comment here, I have done a large number of reptiles surveys and have never yet come across an animal that has been trapped or killed by the tin being replaced. |

I have found them under discarded carpet, a pile of house bricks and even under an old cash box. Experiment with different materials but keep an eye open for signs of rats. |
