What made these tracks?
I know what made these tracks in the snow. Do you?
The snow was 2ft deep when this picture was taken (January 2010). Distance in between each set of prints was approx 12 inches.

Lepus europaeus perchance? ( I'm sure it was Lepus lepus when I was a lad) Have they changed it or is it just an old age memory thing?

Lepus capensis was also in the frame at one point in time.

Quite likely to be hare prints.

Yes its a hare. I thought you two would get it right! I have had some people say its a 3 legged cat in the past! :
