| | | Live Penguins + Reindeer in Hamleys Sorry not sure where to put this, but Hamleys toy store London are currently advertising a display of real reindeer and penguins in their shop. How exactly this got permission to go ahead I have no idea, but they have decided that place live reindeer and penguins in heated over crowded central London store! |

| | | Re: Live Penguins + Reindeer in Hamleys It's not a large shop either so a very small area for the poor birds. They are asking parents to supervise their children!
Am trying to find out who would give permission for this... |

| | | Re: Live Penguins + Reindeer in Hamleys I've been reading through those... If you Google images for 'inside hamleys london' you'll see just how crammed it is. It will be hot & incredibly noisy. They also have to get the poor creatures there through the busiest roads in London. |

henrya | Ah yes but all these species live in areas with Cold sea currents, even those in Galapagos have could southernly currents that aloow them to live near the equator.
And I dont think a store full of screaming children is comparable to a penguin colony... |
